Youth Ministry Directors
Charity was raised in Glidden, Wisconsin, and had dreams of becoming a hairdresser as a teenager. Her relationship with Jesus started at the age of 9. When she was 15 years old God began to show her the brokenness of young people in her community, and her plans for the future began to change. After experiencing many overseas and stateside mission trips as a teenager Chrity knew her calling was to youth ministry. Two weeks after her high school graduation she moved to New York City to begin an internship with the New York School of Urban Ministry. Her focus was on ministry to the homeless, as well as leading others in ministry to the urban community. From 2003 -2006 she attended Elim Bible Institute, acquiring a certificate in Youth Ministry with Theology as a Minor. After graduating, she accepted a Youth Pastor position in Panama City, Florida, where she served until 2010. In Florida she worked with a community youth development program, and gained certificates in Gang Specialist, FEMA, and Community Educator. In 2010 she moved back to Wisconsin and served as Youth Pastor of Ashland Assembly of God for seven years, where she also married Nathaniel. Charity’s mission verse is Ezekiel 36:26-28–“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Then you will live in the land I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God.”
After living a life of fulfilling his own desires and raising four children (Eva, Ian, Bryce, Annalise)–which he continues to do–Nathaniel experienced significant, life-changing circumstances in 2012. And that’s where the Lord received Nathaniel, when he gave his life to the Lord at an altar call right here at C3. Soon after, Nathaniel became involved in a motorcycle ministry that encouraged him through fellowship and discipleship. Later on, the Lord led him into another motorcycle ministry which focused more on outreach. Through these experiences Nathaniel grew in the Lord and saw the needs of young people across the area. In 2013, Nathaniel married Charity and began to assist her in the youth ministry she was already engaged in. He also volunteered in the church more, leading worship and outreach events. For the next three years God spoke to Nathaniel often, revealing that God had something more planned for him. In the fall of 2017, Nathaniel answered the call to further ministry and enrolled at Global University to begin his pastoral ministry education.
Nathaniel and Charity look forward to many years of ministry for the Lord as a team!
